Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and review patient medical histories.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (e.g., blood work, imaging, EKGs).
Diagnose acute and chronic health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with clinical guidelines.
Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment adherence, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR.
Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
Provide follow-up care as appropriate, including telehealth check-ins and home visits.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices and participate in continuing education.
Uphold compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree or higher in Nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
Licensure: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Michigan.
Certification: Board certified (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice preferred.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Compassionate bedside manner and patient-centered approach.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible per diem schedule.
