Continuing Education – Youth Academy High School Tutor – Chemistry

We seek adjunct faculty members to teach the Youth Academy High School Tutor – Chemistry program, welcoming a multicultural environment and diverse learning abilities. Opportunities may include flexible schedules that accommodate days, evenings, and weekends.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Plan and deliver instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings using face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended formats.
Conduct student evaluations and submit required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain a flexible schedule as set by the instructor and the student.
Use technology to facilitate remote or virtual teaching when required.
Required Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in the subject matter.
Minimum two years of high school teaching experience preferred.
Illinois Professional Educator license preferred.
Must be able to teach in‑person at one of the campuses (Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Carol Stream, or Westmont).
Access to a personal computer with email capability required.
Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
Hourly wage: $33.99. Positions are paid by stipend for course assignments. A pre‑employment background check at the College’s expense is required.
