What You’ll Do
Provide highquality prehospital emergency medical care and safe patient transport
Perform advanced life support interventions within Maine EMS AEMT scope of practice
Collaborate with paramedics, EMTs, nurses, and physicians across the MaineHealth system
Document assessments, treatments, and patient interactions accurately and timely
Operate emergency vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with Maine EMS regulations
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Completion of EMT-Advanced course required.
License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) EMT-Advanced license required. Valid driver’s license required. Current BLS certification required.
