Position Overview
Vascular Surgery in West Virginia. A busy practice is seeking an additional vascular surgeon to join the group. There are currently 4 vascular surgeons with medical staff privileges at the hospital. This position is a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The hours are standard Monday through Friday with flexible hours and premium block times in the OR 3 days per week. Practice call would be 1:2 in the practice, but there is an opportunity to establish a call relationship with the other surgeons on staff at the hospital. Advanced wound care center participation and a large endovascular program are available. A strong financial package with a sign on bonus, competitive salary, production bonuses, and more is included.
Clinical Responsibilities
Inpatient vascular surgery
Outpatient vascular surgery
Participation in the advanced wound care center
Participation in a large endovascular program
Practice call (1:2 sharing) with potential to establish call relationship with hospital surgeons
