Job Overview
Traveling By Faith Transportation Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate and reliable Non-Emergency Medical Driver to join our team in the Tallahassee area.
As a driver for our company, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals and other health care facilities. This is a full-time position.
Pay rate: $15.00/ hour
Responsibilities
Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities in a timely manner.
Provide assistance to patients as needed, such as helping them in and out of the vehicle.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of all passengers.
Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers and team members.
Maintain a professional image and attitude in regard to patients, visitors and coworkers.
Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Also report any maintenance issues and gassing up the vehicle daily at the end of shift.
Must be able to work 8–12-hour shifts depending on the trip demand for the day.
Start and end times for daily shifts are not set in stone and fluctuate depending on trip demand for the day but can be anywhere from 4:00am-9:30 am start.
Traveling By Faith Transportation Services, LLC expects all drivers to be punctual, safe, friendly, and professional at all times.
Drivers are expected to follow GPS coordinated route, following all traffic laws and regulations.
Physical requirements may include, but not limited to, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, twisting, squatting and some lifting.
Requirements
Must comprehend and comply with Traveling By Faith Transportation Services, LLC employee handbook.
Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) for three years.
Age 23 or older (Insurance Requirement).
Must possess a valid Florida drivers license.
Must be able to pass DOT physical, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and criminal background check (NO FELONIES - NO EXCEPTIONS).
No suspensions, DUI, or more than 1 moving violation or 1 “at-fault” accident within the past three years.
Must have CPR/First Aid, PASS, Defensive Driving, FWA and HIPPA training (if you don’t have at the start of employment, then you will be given two weeks from the start of employment to complete).
Able to work some weekends.
