
Medical Assistant - Sports Medicine

Description
The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed, assisting in patient care for assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for the assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications
College or university coursework or training as a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
Washington Medical Assistant certification upon hire
Clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, medication administration
National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) certification within 30 days of hire
Minimum 6 months of healthcare experience and 6 months of medical assistant experience
Preferred Qualifications
National Medical Assistant certification upon hire
Benefits and Compensation
Competitive base pay range of $26.47 - $40.49 per hour with additional compensation for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, and bonuses.
