Primary Job Duties
Positively promote SkyWest travel privileges to all employees
Educate employees about travel privileges and offer travel‑related advice through phone, chat, email, forums, presentations, and in‑person interactions
Learn, review, and assist with travel policies and procedures
Maintain detailed logs of employee travel questions and issues
Maintain information in SkyWest’s Travel Authorization system for eligible employee travelers
Write travel bulletins and articles for SkyWest Online
Process travel requests for company and business travel, including flights, hotels, and car reservations
Communicate and work with representatives from other airlines
Process emergency travel requests
Assist with SkyWest People Programs events
Travel for work may be required
Track and record work and compile quarterly reports using collected data
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
Pass a pre‑placement background check and drug screen
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Strong customer service skills
Ability to cultivate positive relationships with departments and frontline employees
Professional communication skills including telephone, email, and online chat
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Airline reservation system experience is a plus
Quick learner who can adapt to change
Strong understanding of SkyWest policies and procedures
Works well with others and in a highly open team environment
Open to feedback and adaptable to change
Ability to present in front of groups
Ability to multi‑task
Flexible schedule to work some holidays
Physical And Other Requirements
Sit and work at a computer for extended periods
Expected schedule is 16–20 hours per week
This is an in‑office position with no remote work available
Moderate noise level in a business office setting
Training lasts 6–9 months with a flexible schedule Monday through Friday
After training, the schedule is Wednesday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
This is a part‑time position
The non‑negotiable wage is $15.50 per hour
This is not a Department of Transportation safety‑sensitive position
