The Nutrition Care Dietitian will support the culinary medicine program at the Healthy Community Center (HCC) ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices. This role includes screening assessments, individual and group education sessions, and participating in cooking demonstrations. This HCC position will also work closely with the team to help clients improve their health through application of nutrition knowledge received at the HCC. The Nutrition Care Dietician will provide monthly and quarterly reports.
Staff Dietitians are responsible for providing nutritional care to patients which may include screening, nutrition assessment and care plan development, ongoing nutrition intervention, nutrition counseling and diet education according to department and medical center policies and procedures. Staff Dietitians organize their work and set priorities to assist in the planning of programs to meet the priority nutrition and customer service needs of the patient population they serve. Staff Dietitians are responsible for assisting in developing outreach activities and selected program planning.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition. Registered Dietitian required. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
