Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Process Technician (Manufacturing) to support operations within a regulated vaccine manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands‑on experience in lab and production support within the life sciences industry.
Location: Athens, GA
Salary: $20/hour
Shift: Day Shift | Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
Contract: 6 months+
Key Responsibilities
Support production operations by preparing and maintaining equipment used in manufacturing processes
Perform Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) processes on mobile equipment
Prepare and sterilize equipment using autoclaves
Perform decontamination of garments, equipment, and materials
Follow daily production schedules and support team priorities
Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
Review and maintain accurate documentation for compliance purposes
Assist with troubleshooting equipment and process issues
Support training efforts for new team members as needed
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and help resolve process deviations
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Prior lab or manufacturing experience preferred (but not required)
Basic understanding of GMP or regulated environments is a plus
Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Basic math and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, regulated setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar systems
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
