3rd Shift: 11pm-7am
Pay
RN: $36.00 - $39.53 per hour (experience) plus shift differential
LPN: $30.00 - $33.26 per hour (experience) plus shift differential

Position Summary
This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Quality‑of‑Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
Primary Responsibilities
Receive and give report at shift change for LPN/RN and CNA, make rounds and report all deficiencies to the Director of Nursing.
Count and sign off on narcotics at the beginning and end of shift.
Pass medications, document on Medication Administration Record (MAR), and notify Director of Nursing of any incomplete documentation.
Apply treatments, lotions, dressings, etc., as needed, documenting in treatment record.
Document residents per protocol.
Notify family and physicians of changes in resident condition as necessary.
Monitor dining room during meals, ensuring all necessary staff are present.
Replenish supplies for medicine cart, medicine room, and resident rooms; order shortages through central supply personnel.
Qualifications
Valid NC or compact state LPN/RN license with no substantial findings of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of resident property.
Minimum of 3 months’ experience as a LPN/RN preferably with elderly care.
Comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
Ability to observe changes in resident’s condition and act accordingly.
Demonstrate understanding, patience, tact and courtesy in dealing with employees, residents, family, visitors and volunteers.
Ability to supervise staff and maintain good working relationships among personnel.
Cooperate with other health professionals and coordinate efforts toward maximum resident care.
Recognize problems, make decisions and solve problems.
Demonstrate sound judgment in emergency situations.
