Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator & MIG Welder to join our hollow metal door and frame shop. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in MIG welding, grinding, and fabricating metal components with precision and attention to detail. This position offers a clean, team‑oriented work environment with individual workstations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding, grinding, and finishing of 14‑ and 16‑gauge metals
Cut, notch, square, and fit material accurately to specifications
Maintain tight tolerances in all fabrication work
Use hand tools, electric tools, and air tools safely and effectively
Work independently at your workstation while collaborating with team members as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Perform minor lifting and material handling as required
Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and templates
Conduct minor prime painting touch‑ups
(Preferred) Experience with bondo or body work is a plus
Qualifications
Proven experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to read blueprints or work orders
Dependable, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
Must be able to stand, lift, and handle materials safely throughout the shift
