Dietary Aide/Cook

Responsibilities
The Food Service Worker/Cook is responsible for the following: assisting with preparing the salad bar when needed, maintaining an adequate supply of beverages, ensuring the cafeteria and dining room remain clean at all times, assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and room supplies, operating the dish machine, assisting the cook as required and stocking kitchen necessities on each floor as required. Ideal candidate will also cook. Must be able to work every other weekend. Hours: 10:30 a‑7 p.

Qualifications
Education/Experience: Must have a basic knowledge of food service sanitation; prior experience in food service required, preferably in a healthcare setting. HS/GED required. This is a non‑exempt hourly position.

Prefer SERV SAFE food handler certification or be able to sit for certification. (Drug testing is part of the hiring process in addition to background checks.)
