Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide patient/resident care as required under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse. The CNA at Edgerton Care Center completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care. Communication and interactions with patients, residents, families and other health team members is an essential component of this position.
Compensation
CNA base hourly wage: $19.00 – $22.28 per hour dependent on experience
Plus shift differentials – $2.00 per hour PM shift and $2.50 per hour NOC shift

Key Responsibilities
Perform initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
Implement plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs.
Provide direct patient/resident care and report condition and changes to RN or LPN.
Demonstrate time management and prioritization of tasks.
Document results of patient/resident care within established policies, procedures and scope of practice.
Nutritional care.
Effective communication with residents and family.
Complete all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity
Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements
Must be English literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Previous hospital or long-term care or skilled nursing experience
CPR Certified
