Description
The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembly, wiring, installation, integration of electrical systems, interpreting engineering diagrams, installing components, fabricating and routing conduit and wiring, ensuring proper functionality and adhering to quality standards.
Summary/Objective
The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembly, wiring, installation, integration of electrical systems, interpreting engineering diagrams, installing components, fabricating and routing conduit and wiring, ensuring proper functionality and adhering to quality standards.
Essential Functions
Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
Work cooperatively across Manufacturing Teams to meet dates and goals.
Follow all written and verbal instructions.
Attend all safety and production training.
Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, hand tools, precision maintenance tools, measuring devices, testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
Installation and routing of wiring systems, gauges, instrument components; fabricate rigid or flexible conduit, cut, strip, crimp, solder and termination of wire assemblies.
Interpret and understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and/or operation manuals.
Support continuous improvement and 5s initiatives related to workspace and organization.
Interact regularly with other manufacturing departments and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment.
Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to increase equipment reliability and up-time.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience with wire harness and instrument assembly, electrical wiring, conduit fabrication and routing.
Knowledge and skilled using wire strippers, crimpers, conduit benders, cutters, soldering irons, and multimeters.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
Knowledge of computer skills and data entry.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust and varying temperatures.
Environment/Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full‑time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, shift times vary per manufacturing department. However, depending on workload there may be occasionally longer days, and occasional weekends as needed. Employees are expected to work the hours necessary in order to timely and satisfactorily complete all necessary work tasks.

Travel is not required for this position.
Education and Experience
High School diploma required.
Electrical or technical degree preferred.
Manufacturing or industrial equipment assembly preferred.
Must be computer literate.
