Position Overview
We are seeking a CNC Machinist (CAD/CAM) to support machining operations at our Maysville location. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment to produce quality parts to specification.
You will work from Autodesk Inventor (CAD) models and use CAM processes to generate and run programs. This is not a basic operator role—we are looking for someone who can take ownership of the machining process from model to finished part.
While machining is the primary focus, this position may also support other areas of production as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, saws etc)
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Select tooling, set offsets, and optimize machining processes
Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Support other areas of production when needed
What We’re Looking For
Experience with CNC programming and operation
Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Autodesk Inventor / Fusion 360 preferred)
Ability to go from model → program → finished part
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and setup
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable and able to work independently
Willingness to contribute across the shop as needed
Additional Information
This role is primarily machining-focused but may assist in other areas of production depending on workload. Candidates should be comfortable working in a flexible, team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
