Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Roofer to join our team. In this role you will perform a variety of carpentry and repair tasks, including roofing, siding, drywall work, and structural improvements related to solar installations. This hands‑on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in high‑quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site assessments prior to project start, including measurements and documentation.
Perform structural upgrades such as framing and sistering rafters.
Diagnose and repair roof leaks efficiently and safely.
Complete repairs related to solar installations, including siding and drywall.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including photos and site details.
Communicate professionally and courteously with customers.
Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Follow company vehicle policies and safety regulations.
Assist with general construction and maintenance tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of carpentry and roofing techniques.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to adapt to a variety of construction and maintenance tasks.
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Education & Experience
1–3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work on roofs for extended periods.
Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.
Ability to lift and carry 40–50 lbs regularly.
