Job Overview
The Manual Machinist performs a variety of duties including drilling and tapping of castings.
Responsibilities
Good working knowledge of manual machining equipment such as lathes and mills.
Use manual lathes and mills.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years’ experience in Manual Machining.
Core Competencies
Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally with a hoist.
Standing: Standing is required in periods of up to three hours at a time.
Stooping: Required to lift objects off pallets.
Hand Dexterity: Must be able to work with hand tools, screws and gauges, as well as operate buttons on controls.
Verbal Communication: Must be capable of clear communication between co‑workers and supervisor.
Carrying: Capable of carrying 40 pounds for a distance of up to 25 feet.
Preferences
Knowledge of inventory processes.
Process driven and systematic in approach to completing work.
Ability to identify and solve problems.
Ability to pass certification for Powered Industrial Vehicle license.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
This position will be based at our site in Bentleyville, PA. No travel.
