About The Opportunity
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager who is eager to learn and grow in a friendly fast‑paced environment. This person will support in all aspects of project management, with a focus on task follow‑ups, documentation, and transition to operations.
The Impact You Will Make
Assist Project Managers and Senior Project Manager in all aspects of restaurant projects
Actively participate in program and project‑specific meetings to update task statuses in project management software, reports and spreadsheets
Independently prioritize tasks, collaborate with the project manager to follow up with vendors to ensure completion; escalates where required
Gather updates from internal cross‑functional team members; update project plans and schedules
Track and perform follow‑ups with the design team to ensure design reviews are completed, issues are resolved, and construction documents are completed on time
Solicit proposals, coordinate contracts, and collaboratively review change orders and invoices with the project manager and contracts team for approval
Document costs in budget tracking tools
Focus on activities related to transitioning a restaurant to opening, including coordination of dates with internal stakeholders and external vendors, setting up service contracts, monitoring completion on site
Assist with punch lists, close‑out documentation, TI reimbursements, to close projects
Travel to job sites as required for due diligence, meetings, project progress checks and turnover activities
What You Bring To The Table
3+ Years of relevant work experience
Past experience in Project Management, Construction, or Design, with focus in project management activities
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Financial management experience
Ability to read and understand construction documents
Experience reviewing proposals, contracts and change orders
Ability to independently relay instruction in person, on site, to vendors
Procurement experience
Monday.com and Smartsheet experience is highly preferred

New Jersey:
$96,000 – $102,000 per year. Wonder uses geographic‑specific salary structures; the final salary offer will take into account factors such as the candidate’s skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
