(USA) Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics (BI Platform Enablement – Operations)
Walmart, Bentonville, AR, United States
Position Summary
Sr. Manager, BI Platform Enablement – Operations
Location: Bentonville, AR
About BI Platform Enablement
The BI Platform Enablement team builds and owns AISLE One — a production‑grade analytics platform built on React, FastAPI (Python), and Google BigQuery, deployed on Walmart’s Cloud Native Platform (WCNP/Kubernetes). From interactive dashboards and AI/ML monitoring surfaces to workforce analytics and compliance tooling, we deliver data products that shape how CES leaders make decisions at scale. This role is the operational heartbeat of that work, owning delivery execution, stakeholder relationships, and engineering rhythm across three managers and thirteen offshore developers actively leveraging AI‑assisted development practices.
What You’ll Do
Champion AI‑assisted development practices across a team of 3 managers and 13 offshore developers running 2‑week Agile sprints — accelerating delivery quality and engineering velocity.
Serve as the primary liaison between CES director‑level business partners and engineering, translating ambiguous problems into sprint‑ready requirements and stakeholder‑friendly language.
Own the AISLE One platform roadmap across dashboards, AI/ML monitoring surfaces, People Analytics, and compliance tooling built on React, FastAPI, and WCNP.
Facilitate design‑thinking discovery sessions and drive continuous improvement through structured stakeholder feedback and data standardization.
What You’ll Bring
Proven manager‑of‑managers experience leading offshore development teams through Agile/Scrum delivery.
Familiarity with React, FastAPI (Python), and containerized deployment on WCNP or Kubernetes — enough to lead engineers and evaluate technical feasibility with confidence.
Genuine enthusiasm for AI‑assisted development tooling and applying emerging AI capabilities to BI and analytics delivery.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Plotly, BigQuery/SQL).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field and 4 years’ experience in data analytics or a related field, or 6 years’ experience in data analytics or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis.
Statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS, R).
Masters: Business Administration, Masters: Information Systems, Masters: Statistics.
Salary Range: $90,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include stock equity.
Benefits include medical, vision, and dental coverage; 401(k) with company match; stock purchase program; company‑paid life insurance; paid time off (PTO, sick leave, parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, voting); short‑term and long‑term disability; military leave pay; adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement; and more. Employment benefits and eligibility may change, and may vary by classification and length of employment.
Walmart and its subsidiaries are committed to maintaining a drug‑free workplace and have a zero‑tolerance policy regarding the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the job. This policy applies to all employees and aims to create a safe and productive work environment.
