Stockroom And Shipping Associate - Floater
The Stockroom And Shipping Associate - Floater position involves supporting warehouse and logistics operations by helping manage inventory, prepare shipments, and assist with various tasks in the warehouse. The position is flexible, allowing you to float between different duties to ensure smooth operations.
Work You'll Do:
Receives work orders, verifies orders, locates inventory throughout the plant, pulls parts using forklift or other equipment, attaches order request, and ensures delivery to production.
Prepares inventory for off-site storage, contacts facility, and delivers materials.
Promotes plant safety according to Coperion Process Solutions LLC policy and procedure.
Performs other related duties as assigned by Logistics Supervisor
Capability to be standing for long periods of time
Operate equipment such as forklift
Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished
Works closely with Production Control to fulfill orders on time to meet customer required ship dates
Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves
Package goods for customer orders
Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location, based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities
Work within a team of receiving and shipping - maintaining company KPI's
Must pay key attention to detail
Basic Qualifications:
1-2+ years' experience or training in warehouse, logistics or industrial work setting
Valid driver's license
Self-starter - works well without supervision
ERP (SAP) experience not a requirement, but a bonus
Willing to perform manual and repetitive tasks with attention to detail
Able to follow established procedures and guidelines
Capability to be standing for long periods of time
Good team player who can adapt to different warehouse tasks
