Warehouse Operations Scheduling And Order Fulfillment Specialist
Longeviti is searching for a candidate with an active Top Secret clearances and at least three (3) years of experience to provide Warehouse Operations Scheduling and Order Fulfillment to the DIA Logistics Operations Center (DLOC) in Landover, MD.
The Warehouse Operations Scheduling and Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for planning and coordinating daily warehouse activities, including workforce and vehicle scheduling, dock management, and order fulfillment operations. This role ensures efficient execution of picking, staging, kitting, packing, loading, and delivery coordination while balancing competing priorities and surge requirements. The specialist works closely with customers to confirm pick-up and delivery windows, resolve scheduling conflicts, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate inventory records, managing pick tickets and staging plans, ensuring proper material handling and damage prevention (particularly for office furniture), and upholding property accountability and chain-of-custody requirements. The position requires tracking performance metrics, maintaining status updates, and ensuring compliance with OSHA-aligned safety practices. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and exceptional customer service skills is essential to support effective communication, reporting, and operational success.
Demonstrated experience building daily/weekly schedules for crews/vehicles, coordinating dock times, and balancing competing priorities and surge requirements. Ability to coordinate with customers to confirm pickup/delivery windows and solve conflict. Experience with picking, staging, kitting, packing, loading, and delivery coordination; ability to generate/maintain pick tickets and staging plans. Knowledge of material handling best practices for office furniture (padding, wrapping, palletizing as applicable) and damage prevention. Experience maintaining inventory records (receipts, issues, transfers, turn-ins) and reconciling discrepancies. Familiarity with property documentation and chain-of-custody/signature controls. Ability to maintain accurate status updates and metrics (on-time performance, backlog, cycle Knowledge of OSHA-aligned warehouse safety practices (aisle control, load securement, PPE, incident reporting). Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Strong skills in customer service.
Minimum three (3) years of experience in operations scheduling in a warehouse/distribution setting. Active Top Secret. High school diploma/GED and minimum of three (3) years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or move/relocation logistics, OR Associate's/Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
