We are seeking a full-time Quality Control Associate to join our distribution center team in
Conklin, NY
for a 1A shift - Sunday - Wednesday 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Hourly Rate: $19.10/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Control Associate teammates at the DICK'S Sporting Goods Distribution Center conduct audits to ensure accuracy & compliance throughout the processing & support areas of the distribution center. They are responsible for chargebacks and capturing vendor errors.
Verifies that MHE label application is correct to standards.
Audits outbound processing totes for accuracy.
Completes carton audits at shipping to identify correct pallet placement & store location.
Completes trailer audits.
Audits OSO packets to ensure correct paperwork is provided to Receiving. Audits back stock locations to ensure correct product is in location. Audits store-to-store transfers to ensure correct product is transferred.
Search building for vendor compliance issues.
Other audits & duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
Willing to be certified on equipment, based on location.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull & lift cartons/bins weighing up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
Must feel comfortable reporting errors to department supervisor (interact & defend position).
Proficient in WMS, PMMS.
BENEFITS
Targeted Pay Range: $18.60 - $26.55. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. DICK'S Sporting Goods complies with all state paid leave requirements.
