This position performs functions or is immediately available to perform functions that are considered safety sensitive for the purpose of maintenance or preventive maintenance as defined by 14 CFR 121. Therefore, employment and continued employment with the company is conditioned upon full compliance with the company’s Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program as required by 14 CFR Part 120, 135, 145 and 49 CFR Part 40.

Job Overview
The Supply Chain Parts Clerk ensures that operations and technicians have the parts, tools, indirect materials, and supplies needed to keep production running efficiently. In this hands‑on role, the Parts Clerk receives, stages, issues, and tracks materials while supporting inventory accuracy and organization. This position also provides ancillary support across supply chain activities, helping to maintain smooth material flow, minimize downtime, and assist with day‑to‑day operational and inventory tasks in the aerospace/defense environment.

Essential Functions

Locate, prepare, and issue materials to production through an ERP system.

Stock hardware and parts as required.

Provide responsive service to maintenance technicians to avoid delays in aircraft operations.

Return materials to stock as needed.

Participate in stock level checks of regularly consumed materials, both direct and indirect, to ensure adequate stock is maintained to support operations.

Handle and issue hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA, federal, and state standards and properly document usage.

Maintain a clean work environment in full compliance with company standards and customer and government regulations.

Follow safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment with little supervision.

Experience with computerized inventory systems.

Excellent problem‑solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel or related software.

Education / Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent education required.

Lean Six Sigma yellow belt (or higher) certification preferred.

Experience

2 years previous material handling or inventory control experience required.

Experience in the aerospace/defense industry a plus.

Physical Requirements

Frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Frequently required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment.

Frequently required repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Occasionally experience a high level of noise, adverse weather or temperature conditions.

Occasionally required to operate motor vehicle.

Occasionally required to stand for extended periods of time.

Salary Range
$21.74 - $23.92 USD.
