Join Siemens Energy as an office‑based Installation and Commissioning Manager (ICM), where you will play a crucial role in both commercial and technical aspects for our clients in the Americas. As the project lead for installation & commissioning (I&C) activities, you will also evaluate and execute warranty claims. Your effective communication skills will be essential as you work independently and lead our team through urgent situations. As the final point of contact with the client before equipment handover for operation, your influence will directly impact project success and client satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and various teams, managing multiple large‑scale projects simultaneously while engaging with all levels of the organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Support the Project Manager in managing client relationships and coordinating project I&C activities from the office.

Provide site status updates to stakeholders and resolve on‑site issues effectively.

Facilitate client interfaces and coordinate technical field advisors / field service representatives to meet I&C schedules.

Approve project procurement plans, budgets, and purchase orders for the I&C phase.

Create and maintain the overall I&C schedule, managing the critical path and project site execution plans.

Evaluate and resolve site warranty claims and identify process improvements through Lessons Learned.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role, particularly with turbo compressors, reciprocating compressors, gas turbines, or rotating equipment. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.

Strong knowledge of gas turbines, compressors, and associated systems. Controls and instrumentation are also a benefit.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present to various stakeholders.

Leadership qualities, including problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Willingness to travel domestically or internationally, potentially up to 25% annually.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Location & Compensation
Location: New York (may also be based in Houston, Texas or other locations). The base salary range for this position if based in New York is $84,000 – $145,000 and the annual incentive target could be 10% of base salary. The base salary range may vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
