
Narcotics Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities
Assist the Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor with daily functions.
Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room.
Maintain floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner.
Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
Prepack floor bulk prescribed medications.
Package fill and ship medications.
Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Licensed GA Pharmacy Technician required.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
Basic Math and computer skills.
Frameworks/ECM knowledge a plus.
Ability to physically perform light lifting.
