Engine Rebuild Mechanic - Shop & Field Opportunities
Mustang Cat is actively hiring experienced Engine Rebuild Mechanics for both shop and field service roles. If you're a hands-on diesel engine technician or a skilled generator technician with a passion for high-performance engines, this role offers long-term career growth in the industrial engine repair field.
What You'll Do as an Engine Rebuild Mechanic:
Disassemble, inspect, and recondition diesel and natural gas engines
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
Remove and install engines and generator systems
Test and adjust components for optimal performance
Conduct technical analysis and failure diagnosis
Work independently in the shop or at customer sites using a field service truck

Requirements:
Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate's degree or certificate from a technical school preferred
Previous mechanic or military experience
Knowledge of electronic, hydraulic, and engine systems
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical problems independently
