What We Offer
Novant Health is seeking a Multimodality Radiologic Technologist for our NEW Bluffton Free Standing Emergency Department. The role involves assisting physicians in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images. The Technologist must work 75% of the time in a primary modality as assigned and 25% in a secondary modality.
What We're Looking For
Education:
2‑Year/Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of an ARRT‑approved Radiography Program, required.
Experience:
Minimum of three years in diagnostic radiology, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography – RT(R), required.
Certified and registered in two or more of the following: CT, MR, Mammography, Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, Ultrasound, or Nuclear Medicine (via ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB).
IV Credentialed, required.
Applicable state licensure, required.
Additional Skills (required):
Knowledge of procedures and standards for specific modalities based on certifications; skill in operating equipment; additional specialty certifications (excluding RT).
Additional Skills (preferred):
Application of advanced skills in area of specialization; adaptation of procedures, protocols, techniques, and equipment to meet special needs; networking and recruiting to gain new talent for the centers.
