Occupational Therapist – School (OT – School)
– Start Date: ASAP. Available shifts: 7.5 hours. Pay: $2048.00 – $2111.00 per month.
Job Overview
Travel Occupational Therapist contract in Norwalk, Connecticut. Support students’ educational goals in a school setting, collaborating with district staff, assessing, planning, and delivering therapy services. Use IEP systems to track progress and coordinate interventions.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement therapy programs; provide screenings; coordinate care within the school environment; collaborate with school staff and families to achieve student goals; track and document progress using IEP and other systems.
Required Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Connecticut.
Preferred Qualifications
Initial certification through NBCOT.
Clear, articulate communication skills.
Ability to explain results to a varied audience.
Previous school or pediatric occupational therapy experience.
Completion of criminal record and background check.
Location
