Job Description
We are looking to grow our due diligence team and support our Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) with report writing, data interpretation and project management. The successful candidate will manage environmental assessments with support from our junior and senior staff in the due diligence group. In this position, we hope the right candidate can serve as a resource for junior staff, develop new client relationships, and prepare proposals, cost estimates and reports.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct Phase I, II, Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
Understand local regulations and effectively communicate how to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations
Perform site visits, field observations and field data collection or assignments
Implement technical requirements to complete client projects by directing and supervising field staff to sample, test and collect data and/or document site activities
Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects, participate in pre‑task planning, and report any safety issues or concerns to management
Demonstrate quality practices and acumen
Develop written proposals to clients for approval by senior level professionals
Provide consistent quality standards on proposal and project delivery
Assist more senior Scientists, Geologists or Engineers on large, more complex projects
Evaluate moderately complex laboratory and field data and assemble it in written reports
Serve as team member or participate in meetings and communications with client pertaining to specific projects or tasks
Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or related science field
Minimum of 6+ years’ related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 12 years’ related experience
Certification in field of expertise required
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
