Medical Science Liaison – Neuroscience (North Texas / Arkansas / Oklahoma / New Mexico territory)

Location: Northern Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

Build external relationships with health care provider team and develop and manage a geographical territory.

Develop and maintain a territory strategic plan, including clinical activities with identified OLS, institutions, community practices, pathway influencers, and advocacy organizations.

Develop competency in Influence & Results Focused, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Product & Therapeutic Area Knowledge, and Data Insights & Dissemination.

Build community and academic OP partnerships through establishing relationships and conducting scientific exchange with community and institutional HCPs.

Execute research initiatives, maintain strong scientific acumen, and support department operations and internal partners.

Represent and support Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Neuroscience scientific meetings, including congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and investigator meetings. Interpret and report findings with recommendations for action to relevant internal partners.

Experience and Skills
Required

PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, DNP or DPAS degree.

Advanced medical degree – Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.

2-4 years of MSL experience and/or 2-3 years of relevant work experience (clinical, research, fellowship, or pharmaceutical).

Ability to support travel of 50-70%, including overnight travel and some weekend commitments.

Ability to drive to or fly to various meetings/congresses/headquarters.

A valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred

Knowledge or experience in Mood/Psychiatry.

Pharmaceutical industry experience.
