Description

Wilson College invites applications for a part-time (24 hours/week) Administrative Assistant to support the Nursing Program. Reporting to the Program Director, this position provides comprehensive administrative support and plays a critical role in coordinating departmental operations, accreditation reporting, and student records management.
This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism.
Essential Functions:
Provide administrative support to the Nursing Program Director
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of student, accreditation, and departmental reports
Coordinate meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics, agenda preparation, and minute-taking
Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records and files
Manage calendars, appointments, and departmental communications
Draft correspondence and reports for departmental leadership
Serve as a point of contact for students, faculty, and external partners
Maintain office supplies and support general office operations
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

None
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
Part-time; 24 hours per week.
Work schedule to be determined in coordination with departmental needs.
Travel:
Limited travel within campus; no regular off-campus travel expected.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience in a professional environment
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Experience in higher education or healthcare settings preferred
Familiarity with accreditation processes and reporting preferred
Experience with data management and report preparation preferred
