Position Summary
Tioga Pipe is looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all products we ship to our customers. Work in a team environment serving as a Shipping Clerk in a dynamic industrial distribution business.
Job Responsibilities
Verify orders, packaging and details to ensure complete and accurate
Enter specific details for orders shipped
Assist drivers with paperwork and loading
Assisting sales with orders and information requests
Responding to incoming emails
Handle issues that arise in relation to shipping
Keep accurate files of goods shipped
Prepare regular shipping reports for managers
Qualifications
High school Diploma or equivalent is required.
Proven work experience as a Shipping Clerk or similar role
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook along with basic computer skills. Baan system experience a plus but not required; in house training will be provided.
