Description
Scheduling Coordinator
Coordinates all patient scheduling activities including appointments, procedures, and exams for multiple physician practice, outpatient departments, modalities, and facilities on behalf of Valley Health Partners Community Health Center (VHP). Facilitates communication between staff, referral sources and physician offices regarding concerns/issues related to scheduling.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field, preferred.
Experience:
6+ months healthcare or call center, plus 6+ months customer service.
One+ year of experience in a healthcare setting or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), preferred.
