Transportation Assistant Duties
Accomplishing transportation assistant functions and miscellaneous transportation support functions.
Processing documents for the shipment of freight, Less-Than-Truck Load (LTL), and Dedicated Truck (DTK), and Air Line Communications (ALOC)/air documents.
Providing assistance with the freight rating and classification process.
Initiating requests to Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC).
Processing cancellation requests, researching and resolving shipping discrepancies, and preparing routine reports to document shipping activities.
Utilizing standard office software to perform data entry of key shipping information and managing transportation-related documents.
