Sr Manager, Project Mgmt – ACP Business Operations

Location: Tucson, AZ (site: 1151 E Hermans Rd, Bldg. 801). Onsite role. U.S. citizenship required; Secret security clearance required prior to start.

The Advanced Common Products (ACP) Portfolio seeks a Business Operations Manager to support program leadership. The manager will coordinate schedule, event management, and drive program execution cadence, working closely with integrated program managers and cross‑product teams.

Responsibilities

Partner with ACP Leadership Team to maintain day‑to‑day program execution cadence (battle rhythm).

Prepare and deliver ACP Portfolio communication messaging to the Naval Power Leadership Team.

Coordinate, plan, and manage strategic meetings (monthly program reviews, all‑hands, skip levels, onboarding, weekly staffing reviews, and daily status meetings).

Track program action items to completion, working with action owners to ensure timely closure, including actions owed to senior leadership above the program level.

Collect weekly metrics, update metrics walls and presentations.

Monitor required progress to RLPM gates and new product introduction actions.

Facilitate discussions across program teams to develop strategies toward major milestones.

Coordinate updates to and tracking of Control Tower Metrics.

Develop program‑enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations (Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, etc.).

Demonstrate strong communication, influence, and presentation skills; interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Support the program risk and opportunity process, aligning with specific financial goals and obligations.

Interface and influence at all organizational levels.

Travel as required.

Qualifications – Must Have

University degree or equivalent experience with at least 10 years of relevant experience, OR an advanced degree with at least 7 years of experience.

Prior program, project, or business management experience.

Experience working cross‑functionally (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance).

Qualifications – Preferred

Experience supporting, owning, and driving program execution.

Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.

Effective influential communicator.

Experience with cross‑functional teams achieving a designated end goal.

Experience with CORE control rooms and CORE processes.

Experience in scheduling, operating, and securing classified telecommunication systems (video and voice).

Experience with operating systems such as PRISM.

Salary
Salary range: 132,400 USD – 251,600 USD, depending on experience, location, education, and key skills.
