Schedule
The shift for this position is 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
The pay rate range for this position is $21.50 per hour
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field preferred
Minimum two years’ experience in ID/DD or related human services background
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid Driver’s License required
Excellent computer skills required
Experience in customer service and retail management preferred
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and supervise the day-to-day operations of THE STORE and LWCC programs.
Provide oversight to Day Habilitation Support Staff and participants that are LW employees/volunteering/employed at The STORE and the LWCC. This includes consistent support, coaching and training, marketing strategies to attract new customers, reconciling cash, stocking, monitoring inventory.
Conduct observations of staff and people supported, monthly or as needed, regarding customer service and satisfaction of customers.
Manage customer service suggestions and complaints
Manage inventory, including loss prevention through expired or damaged products.
Ensure merchandise presentation, cleanliness, and health and safety are up to standards.
Proactively build and maintain customer relationships
Drive agency vehicles; demonstrate safe driving practices; participate in agency driver safety course
Lift and carry general items (ie: program supplies etc.)
Attend all required meetings and training courses on time and be prepared for full participation and reporting.
Ensure incident reporting procedures as per regulations and agency policies are followed.
Adhere to agency quality standards of operation.
Maintain all required OPWDD and agency training certifications including Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP) and CPR, Defensive Driving DD and complete all Agency trainings as assigned.
Become skilled with agency software (ie: Word, Outlook, etc.)
Adhere to paperwork timeframe submissions weekly reconciliation, end-of-month paperwork and budget.
Recruit, interview, hire, evaluate and train staff.
Create employee schedules, assigning schedules and responsibilities to employees.
