Job Summary
Program Manager, Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR). Charged with supporting the Director and advancing undergraduate research at UNLV.
Responsibilities
Centralize data collection on undergraduate research.
Develop infrastructure to support and reward undergraduate research.
Coordinate university-wide research symposia and student programming.
Assist in generating grant proposals and raising funds for undergraduate research.
Develop and administer undergraduate research awards.
Coordinate website updates and social media for OUR publicity.
Develop pipelines to recruit outstanding students to UNLV undergraduate programs.
Collaborate with Academic Affairs and AVPUEHIP leadership to advance enrollment, retention, equity, and academic excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 3 years experience with academic research (undergraduate or graduate) in humanities or STEM.
Minimum 3 years program management experience.
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years experience with academic research.
5+ years program management and supervisory experience.
Experience working in higher education.
Experience in seeking grant funding.
