Job Summary
Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives. Serves as co‑leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
Job Requirements
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree: Required; license obtained on or after January 2016
Two years Physical Therapy experience: Preferred
Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS, HS‑BLS or RQIBLS) certification: Required
Essential Functions
Complete evaluations to ensure quality standards and address assessment areas that require attention.
Use appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establish individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques.
Establish individualized care and discharge plans and ensure plans are communicated to appropriate parties.
Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
Supervise assigned assistants.
Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
