Your Role: Advanced Surgery Support
Advanced Surgical & Anesthesia Management
Lead anesthesia induction, intubation, and advanced monitoring (ECG, IBP/NIBP, capnography, pulse ox, temperature)
Independently manage ventilated patients and complex anesthetic protocols
Make real-time adjustments based on patient response and surgical demands
Provide high-level intraoperative support across soft tissue and advanced procedures
Drive safe, efficient surgical flow with a strong focus on patient outcomes
Clinical Judgment & Case Ownership
Anticipate complications before they happen—and respond decisively
Oversee post-operative recovery and pain management with attention to detail
Maintain gold-standard anesthesia records and surgical documentation
Partner closely with surgeons to ensure seamless case execution
Technical Excellence
Mastery of anesthesia machines, ventilators, and monitoring equipment
Surgical suite setup, instrumentation flow, and sterile technique at a high level
Consistent execution of best practices in surgical nursing and patient safety
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
2+ years of experience in a surgical, specialty, or high-volume veterinary setting
Strong background in anesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing
Experience with advanced monitoring equipment and ventilators
High level of confidence working in a fast-paced surgical environment
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credentials
Experience in orthopedic or specialty surgery
Advanced training in anesthesia or surgical nursing
RECOVER CPR certification
Advanced proficiency in anesthesia and surgical support
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient during complex procedures
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Passion for continuous learning and clinical excellence
