Agentic AI Machine Learning Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced machine learning engineer to design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions for the Defense and Intelligence sectors. You will create end-to-end AI systems that enhance client operations, improve data accessibility, and support mission‑critical applications.

Responsibilities

Design, create, and implement complete AI systems that transform client operations. Ensure solutions scale with infrastructure, meet evolving mission requirements, and integrate into diverse operational environments. Deepen expertise in software engineering, MLOps, and production‑grade deployment.

Qualifications

3+ years experience as an ML engineer building production‑grade ML solutions, including LLMs, agents, or complex automation frameworks.
3+ years experience in data science or data research, training or deploying multimodal models.
3+ years experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
2+ years experience deploying & integrating production‑grade ML models with Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience with LLM, DL, RL and AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, PydanticAI, llamaindex.
Experience connecting agents to APIs, cloud platforms, or databases.
Experience evaluating LLM performance and building observation layers (Grafana, Langfuse, LangSmith, Phoenix).
Experience evaluating architectural tradeoffs and designing robust, scalable service‑based software applications.
TS/SCI clearance.

Nice to Have

Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, llama.cpp, vLLM.
Experience with client engagement, client‑facing project work, and business development.
Experience in deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or signal processing.
Experience deploying & managing data brokering solutions (Kafka, Redpanda, Confluent).
Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Master’s degree.

Clearance

Applicants must obtain TS/SCI clearance; a polygraph may be required.

Compensation

Annualized salary range: $99,000 to $225,000 (USD). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care.
