Role Overview
Meyer Distributing is looking for a Returns Inspector to join our Jasper, IN team. The Returns Inspector inspects returned products and determines if they may be returned to inventory or sent back to the vendor.
Qualifications and Experience
High School graduate or equivalent; education/certification preferred.
One year of previous warehouse experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail; ability to identify letters and numbers.
Computer and data entry skills.
Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
Adaptability to changes in the work environment and ability to meet competing demands.
Reliability and punctuality; follows instructions and responds to management direction.
Oral communication skills with co‑workers, supervisors, and other employees.
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:45 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:45 PM
Saturday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM (with notice)

Duties
Inspect returned product and determine if complete orders were returned for quality.
Re‑package and place quality returned items back into inventory if the product can be resold.
Keep accurate records of RGA numbers and details of product’s condition.
Perform minor repairs to quality items if needed.
Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized.
Wear protective toed shoes and work safely.
Perform other duties as assigned.
