
Maintenance Manager

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to work at our plant. As part of your job you will have to complete all maintenance functions including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, while promoting and practicing safety at all times, and contributing to the continuous improvement of plant equipment by finding ways to eliminate unscheduled downtime and improve efficiency. You will be responsible for:
Managing workers in repair, maintenance, & installation of machines, tools, equipment
Maintaining building, grounds & utility systems
Producing budgetary repair estimates. Coordinates manpower scheduling and requirements
Working on projects involving construction of new buildings and facilitates/alters/modifies existing ones
Developing PM program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.
Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
Training workers to improve work performance & acquaint new workers with INX policies and procedures
Qualifications
Have a minimum of 2 years college or technical school, or licensed / certified industrial electrician
Have a minimum of 2 years maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably 5 years
Supervisory, mechanical, electrical, and communication skills are necessary
Excellent math and reading skills
Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, diagrams or schematics
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work above 6' on ladder or elevated lift.
Must be committed to participation in TPM activities of facility at Steering Committee level
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
Working knowledge of systemic tools such as Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Analysis, Reliability Block Diagrams, 5S, TPM and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
Experience managing a CMMS program
Bachelor's degree is a plus
Industrial safety experience
NFPA Regulations and National Electric Codes knowledge
Environmental waste regulations
Previous manufacturing experience
