SUMMARY
The Receiving Specialist is responsible for handling all products that come into our manufacturing facility. Working with the Shipping + Receiving Manager, this position is key to ensure all client’s orders are taken care of from the moment we have them on-hand. The job is very fast-paced and challenging, but this individual is good at finding solutions to meet the needs of our clients, and is self‑motivated to achieve their best performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive, PO match, tag and distribute products delivered daily

Scanning and invoicing orders

Keeping accurate inventory counts

Ensure all orders ship out on time, accurately, and with optimum quality

Understand principles of shipping, receiving, stock pulling, order fulfillment, and quality control

Follow standard processes set for each task

Manage time efficiently while maintaining a high attention to detail

Meet goals for each process related to receiving

Works with management professionally to maintain quality and efficiency

Ensures that all waste is reported accurately and disposed of properly

Communicates with management, various departments, and team members to satisfy customer needs

REQUIREMENTS
Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States

Must perform Pre‑Employment drug test

JOB SKILLS & REQUIRMENTS

Excellent communication skills

Standard knowledge of computers and iPads

Optimum attention to detail and

Ability to lift 40 pounds

Ability to function in a standing position for 6-8 hours a day

Logistics or supply chain background preferred

Receiving or inventory control preferred

UPS, FedEx, or USPS experience preferred

Starship, Wordship or other shipping platforms preferred

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm (Full-time)

WORK SPACE INFO
This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.

TRAINING
Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.

SAFETY
