The Role
The Bio+Health Business Development team supports and consults portfolio teams on go‑to‑market strategy across market and business development. The Associate will build commercial and strategic partnership opportunities for the portfolio within our network of executives, privately held companies, and federal agencies, supporting each portfolio company in its pursuit of product‑market fit and scalable commercialization. The BD Associate will manage day‑to‑day interaction with portfolio companies, connections with industry partners, relationship tracking, document preparation, project management, and account management.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing the firm’s strategic relationships with key corporate partners in healthcare.

Create and manage dashboards that deliver key insights on industry developments and trends.

Assist in the coordination and execution of strategic projects and portfolio support.

Develop compelling presentation materials that communicate strategy and drive alignment across internal stakeholders, strategic partners, and portfolio companies.

Assist in coordinating and maintaining contractual relationships with external corporate partners.

Minimum Qualifications

3‑5 years of corporate partnerships/consulting experience in healthcare.

Self‑starter with a can‑do attitude, self‑motivation, and collaborative mindset.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross‑functionally across operational groups.

Experience in partnerships, corporate development, M&A, management consulting, or other healthcare‑focused roles where relationship management was a key priority.

Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and project‑manage key relationships.

Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.

Low ego, high empathy, and capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Salary
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $192,000 and $224,000, with actual starting pay varying based on experience, skills, and scope.
