
Program Manager

We are seeking a Program Manager to lead sustaining initiatives, streamline qualification workflows, and strategically manage the supply and distribution of optic modules. Serving as a central bridge across cross-functional teams, the ideal candidate will ensure operational alignment, optimize budgets, and facilitate seamless stakeholder communication.
Long Term Contract
Location:
On-site in Austin, TX
Primary Responsibilities:
Define project priorities, maintain rigorous schedules, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Facilitate collaboration between Engineering, Manufacturing, and external suppliers to drive project success.
Monitor project status, sample availability, and the execution of testing schedules.
Execute purchase requests via Ariba Smart Buy, oversee invoice approvals, and maintain budget integrity.
Facilitate team meetings, deliver status reports, and provide briefings to key stakeholders.
Maintain program documentation within Jira/Confluence and represent project status during Operations reviews.
Manage the procurement and distribution of optic modules, track inventory levels, and monitor purchase order lifecycles.
Partner with Engineering Program Managers (EPMs) to forecast quarterly optical module needs and reconcile these against historical data to identify and resolve supply gaps.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering is mandatory. Candidates must possess a solid technical foundation and a strong understanding of hardware manufacturing environments.
5+ years in project management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
Advanced skills in spreadsheet management and familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience with DVT testing processes is highly desirable.
