The
IR (Individual Retirement) SME
serves as the
primary onsite domain authority
for Individual Retirement and annuity products, ensuring that business rules, data definitions, and functional requirements are correctly interpreted and implemented across data, integration, and reporting initiatives. The role bridges
business stakeholders, application teams, and data/analytics delivery teams , supporting requirement clarification, data validation, and UAT sign‑off for IR initiative
Must‑Have Skills
Bachelor’s in CS/IS or equivalent.
6+ years
of experience in
Insurance domain
Individual Retirement / Annuities Domain:
Deep knowledge of IR products, contracts, participants, beneficiaries, contributions, distributions
IR Business Rules & Calculations:
Understanding of IR business logic, regulatory considerations, and operational workflows
Requirements & UAT:
Strong experience defining requirements, acceptance criteria, and leading/supporting UAT sign‑off
Data Validation:
Ability to validate IR datasets, KPIs, reports, and reconciliations against business expectations
Stakeholder Management:
Onsite engagement with business users, Product Owners, and IT teams; strong communication skills
Onsite Delivery Model:
Experience working in onsite–offshore delivery setups
IR Admin Systems:
Experience with Navisys, Oasis, or similar IR/annuity platforms
Data Platforms:
Exposure to Snowflake or enterprise data platforms
BI & Reporting:
Familiarity with Power BI, Cognos, BO, or Qlik for IR reporting validation
Regulatory Reporting:
Experience supporting regulatory, compliance, or audit‑driven IR initiatives
Agile Delivery:
Scrum/Agile experience working with user stories and sprint teams
Data Migration / Modernization:
Exposure to IR data migration or platform modernization programs
