Position Overview
As part of the talented Thunder Jet team, team members will assist in the manufacturing of Thunder Jet aluminum boats by fabricating aluminum components in preparation for welding and installation. This is an entry level position that may include, but not limited to the following job duties and responsibilities.
Essential Functions
Prepare and distribute parts to their appropriate location within the facility.
Perform and log daily and weekly maintenance on all equipment.
Operate overhead crane system, CNC router, press brake, chop saw, band saw, shear, and other equipment as necessary.
Responsible for compliance to safety policies and procedures, as well as identifying risks and hazards prior to job completion.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
May be required to perform other duties as needed.
Work overtime as needed to meet production needs.
Required Qualifications
Candidate must be reliable. Regular attendance is required.
Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
Work overtime as needed to complete daily tasks or projects.
Working knowledge of a variety of equipment and hand/power tools.
Ability to follow established safety processes including hearing sensitive area and PPE requirements.
Must be willing and able to lift to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to continually learn and grow.
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in moderate to high in the manufacturing setting.
Pay Range
The anticipated pay range for this position ranges grade 2.5-3.0 $20.20-$21.75. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
