Position Overview
TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams assemble sensors using lead soldering equipment, light TIG welding and testing equipment to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
Responsibilities
Follow standardized work instructions for the printing and assembly of components in accordance with component level drawings.
Demonstrate soldering and some light TIG welding skills.
Read and comprehend manufacturing drawings regarding printing sheets for production.
Ensure high cleanliness standards during printing and component assembly.
Ensure first‑time assembly success and minimize material waste attributed to manufacturing workmanship.
Demonstrate a mindset of continuous improvement in all duties.
Other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
Compensation
Sign‑on bonus of $500 paid after 60 days of employment. Referral bonus of $200 paid to any referrer whose candidate is hired and starts.
Location & Hours
Location: Hampton, VA. Work hours: 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM.
Dress Code
Shirts or t‑shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed‑toe and non‑slip footwear only.
