Shift: 1st Shift
Hours:
Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Saturday: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Position Summary
The Phlebotomist I will work in a Patient Service Center (PSC) in a
team-based environment , performing blood draws and specimen collection while ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to established procedures.
Background & Context
This role is an
interim hire
to support extended lab hours and increased patient volume. There is an
potential for conversion
based on performance and business needs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Perform
25-30 blood draws per day
Work with a
diverse patient population , including geriatrics
Collect, label, and process specimens accurately
Ensure compliance with lab protocols and safety standards
Collaborate effectively within a
team environment
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum
6 months of phlebotomy/venipuncture experience
Experience with
geriatric patients
Comfortable working in a
team-based setting
Preferred:
Lab Assistant experience
Compliance Requirements
Color vision screening required
No THC screening required
No mandatory Flu or COVID vaccination
