Job Summary

Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a leading provider of high-quality healthcare, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietician to join our team. As a Registered Dietician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents by creating personalized meal plans, providing nutrition counseling, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Registered Dietician Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of residents' nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans that cater to their specific requirements.
Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and fellow staff members.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address residents' nutritional needs.
Monitor and track resident progress, making adjustments to meal plans as necessary.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in nutrition and gerontological dietetics.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition and dietetics.
Registered Dietician Requirements

Must be a registered dietitian (RD) or eligible for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
Prior experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on gerontological dietetics preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
